Hi!  My name is Cari and I am the owner of Twisted Oak Photography.

I have over 10 years experience in photography and have photographed almost every session type imaginable.  My favorite sessions have included pin-up style shoots, large families (35+ subjects), and special needs children.  While my portfolio is limited due to copyright contracts, I have photographed thousands of people and love creating memories.

Not only do I photograph people, I have worked with service animals and also do landscape photography.  I carry a camera with me almost everywhere I go and enjoy taking photos at every opportunity to hone my craft and constantly learn new things.

My photography career started in 2011 with a national portrait company as a part-time employee during the busiest holidays of the year-Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I quickly moved up within the company and became a traveling manager where I assisted my regional manager with the operations of up to 25 studios and 250 employees across several states.  In addition to completing portrait sessions with clients, I was also responsible for ensuring that every associate and manager was delivering a quality experience.  I was always available to help pose sessions or play with children to get the most beautiful and sincere expressions for photos.  I love to laugh and joke around to help everyone feel at ease and break the ice with those that may struggle with the portrait experience.
